This was, alas, the last day of several weeks of the three girls from next door looking after Arno on weekday afternoons.  The girls have gone back to school.  Arno keeps asking about them.  You can see we've found many Thomas books at the library.  That little blue vehicle at low right is Lofty.  Bob the Builder has a new season on PBS that just started last Saturday, and Target has the toys to match.  Arno's interest in watching the show rebounded with the appearance of this toy at home.  The toys are "Take Along" branded, like the smaller Thomas toys.  Unfortunately, Lofty has already lost one axle, but he still rolls on the remaining two.  The new "Bob" season on TV features the "Yes, we can!" team building a new city in Sunflower Valley on the principles of "reduce, reuse, recycle," with power generated by wind, water, and sun.  At least some of the characters have new voices, and a new vehicle-character has joined the team - Scrambler, an off-road four-wheeler.  "Sacber," says Arno.
